Last year I implemented my GEP activities in music classes, in 2nd ESO. But this year I decided to do my GEP project with a very special group: 4th ESO Experimenta.   It is a special class of 4th grade for those students who need an adapted curriculum to achieve the basic competences and skills: a kind of open class, in which the students develop working practices two days a week and spend at school only three days a week.  I teach them a comprehensive subject called Experimenta-Humanístic, in which we work different contents: language (in Catalan, Spanish and English), social science, culture and values… 

With the irruption of coronavirus in our lives, I thought we wouldn’t be able to implement the project. But after thinking how to continue teaching English to them from home, following the instructions of our Education Department (to propose competence-based, globalized, meaningful activities), and regarding they have a really low level in English, I decided the best choice was to adapt and, after all, implement my GEP project.

So here you have my original project and the adaptation we implemented working from home. A really interesting experience for me!
