My CLIL Activities
The CLIL activities we have worked in class are about Polygons.
Session 1:
In these sessions, we work basic concepts about triangles study an ancient mathematician: Pythagoras.
The first activity is an activity in which the students work in pairs. The main purpose of this activity is to know some basic vocabulary of triangles and learning about the types of triangles we can find.
The second activity is a dictoglos in which the students are going to learn things about Pythagoras.
Session 2:
We study another ancient mathematician: Thales of Miletus, and then we work basic concepts of polygons.
The first activity is a reading/writing activity in which we study the life of Thales of Miletus.
In the second activity, we do a Find My Rule activity to work basic concepts of polygons.
The third activity is a Poster in which the students summarize what they have learned about polygons.
