The CLIL activities I prepared are related to energy and energy resources. 

 

SESSION 1:

• The first activity it's a brainstorming using the Answer Garden ICT Tool. In this activity, students individually have to write using their laptop all the words they can think about "energy resources". After that, altogether we discuss which of all the words are actually energy resources. 

• The second activity it's a mix and match and is related to the first activity. In groups of four, they have to match some energy resources with their definition. Afterwards, one student of each group reads one of the matches they have and we correct it altogether. 

 

SESSION 2:

This session is structured in reading and speaking activities. 

The reading is developed as a jigsaw reading activity, and it's about three of the energy resources we talked about the last session. 

​

• 1. The students are classified into three groups, and each group have a different text to read. 

• 2. In groups, they have to read it and try to summarize the text paying attention to the main words.

• 3. When they have finished, the students are regrouped so each group has a student that has read each text. Each of them has to explain to the other group members their energy resource in a way they can understand.
